XCOM 2: War of the Chosen PC Game Overview
The follow-up to the 2016 critically acclaimed strategy game of the year is called XCOM 2: War of the Chosen.
When new resistance forces emerge to eradicate the alien threat on Earth, XCOM 2: War of the Chosen introduces a tonne of new content to the battle against ADVENT. As a result, a brand-new foe with the sole objective of capturing the Commander is revealed: the “Chosen.” In order to oppose the “Chosen,” this addition features new enemy types, objectives, environments, and a deeper level of strategic gaming.
HERO CLASSES & NEW FACTIONS
The Reapers, Skirmishers, and Templars are three new factions that have arisen to bolster Earth’s resistance; each has distinct skills and opposing ideologies. These factions offer fresh possibilities for the strategy layer as well as strong hero class soldiers to help with missions.
THE SELECT
The most crafty adversaries that XCOM has ever encountered are the Chosen, each of whom has special advantages and disadvantages that change with every new campaign. In order to accomplish their goal, the Chosen will abduct, question, and murder XCOM soldiers while they search for the Commander. The Chosen have the ability to destroy XCOM’s worldwide operations by invading the strategy layer. To finally vanquish the enemy, locate and raid the strongholds of the Chosen.
ADVANT & NEW ALIEN THREATS
The Spectre is a terrifying new alien that has infiltrated the battlefield. It can make dark replicas of XCOM soldiers. In addition to the explosive strikes of the ADVENT Purifier and the psychically charged ADVENT Priest, devise additional strategies to counter it.
FUTURE ENVIRONMENTS AND MISSION GOALS
Take part in tactical missions in a variety of new settings, such as underground tunnels, xenoformed wilderness areas, and abandoned towns that were destroyed by alien bioweapons during the first invasion.
