As the Avatar, you are the most honourable of all heroes. You have witnessed many marvels and shown yourself to be a dungeon master throughout the day. However, nothing you had ever encountered could have prepared you for the terrifying tunnels that lead to Britannia’s underworld. In honour of the Guardian’s armies’ defeat a year prior, you, the Avatar, are invited to an evening of celebration at Lord British’s castle with the leaders of Britannia in this epic adventure. Abruptly, the Guardian strikes once more, enveloping the structure in a massive blackrock diamond. He gives the heroes in jail a straightforward decision: either acknowledge him as the ruler of all of Britannia or perish while his henchmen annex the region.
