In the riveting and controversial Third-Person Modern Military Shooter gameplay of 2K Games’ new original game Spec Ops: The Line, players are placed in unspeakable scenarios where they must make unimaginable decisions that will touch human life, challenging their conscience. The game’s features include an engrossing plot that is reminiscent of Heart of Darkness and Apocalypse Now but takes place in a devastated Dubai; tactical squad-based gameplay in a world that is oriented both horizontally and vertically; devastating sandstorms that can be used in combat; a variety of multiplayer modes and maps; and deep support with two factions.
It’s been six months since a devastating sandstorm completely erased Dubai from the map. Among the thousands of casualties were American soldiers who had been ordered to leave the city. The most luxurious ruin in the world, the city is now covered in sand. Now, a Delta Recon Team is dispatched to enter the city after picking up an enigmatic radio transmission from Dubai. Their straightforward task is to find survivors and radio for help. They discover a city that is engulfed in conflict. They must track down Col. John Konrad, the man at the centre of Dubai’s insanity, if they are to preserve it.
