Japan has seen secret fighting by the mysterious shinobi since the Warring States period. One thing unites all of them: they are all badass ladies who know how to look gorgeous while they battle for the highest bidder or the government.
Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus picks up right after Senran Kagura Burst, reliving the intense rivalry between Hanzō National Academy’s girls and Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy, their sworn adversaries who have since vanished underground and formed the Homura Crimson Squad, a mercenary strike team. Apart from their previous opponents, the Hanzō girls now have to contend with a brand-new group of adversaries: the pupils of Gessen Girls’ Academy, who aim to exact revenge on them for their shortcomings as shinobi warriors. A new class at Hebijo has begun, and these kids mean business: they are against all three of the other groups and will do whatever it takes to be the last group of shinobi standing, even if it means leaving broken bodies and crushed hopes in their wake.
A shinobi combat royale is about to take place. In a flurry of fists, feet, clothes, ragged remnants of those clothes, and sometimes undergarments, heroines and outlaws fight saints and sinners. Every school has a tale to tell, one that is poignant, tragic, heroic, and occasionally nude. Select a school, get ready for combat, and adhere to the Shinobi Path.
