Location: Heldentod POW Camp
The goal is to get away.
You are at the infamous Heldentod camp, captured but not defeated. Unless you can get out to rejoin the Allied Armies, you will be residing in this tiny, abandoned castle in the middle of nowhere for the duration of the war. As you amass your resources, make your preparations, and ultimately execute your epic escape, planning, perseverance, talent, and courage will be required.
A game of isometric action-adventure is called The Great Escape. Your objective as a prisoner of war in a German camp is to escape without being seen. There are many routes to escape, such as via underground tunnels, broken fences, and back doors. You must, however, organize your getaway while adhering to the camp’s stringent regulations.
First on the list: The daily schedule. You have to go to bed at night, eat one meal, exercise, and participate in two roll calls each day. If you do not show up for any of these occasions, the alarm will sound. Without your intervention, your protagonist will navigate through all of the key moments without your input. To explore the camp, you must find and take advantage of pauses in the schedule.
