Description of the Game

The work of Christoph Schied and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology team, who enhanced Quake II with ray tracing to produce Q2VKPT (which in turn expanded upon the Q2PRO code base), is incorporated into Quake II RTX. With the addition of new path-traced visual effects, enhanced texturing, and numerous other tweaks and enhancements, NVIDIA has produced an experience that rivals modern games and maximizes the performance of your RTX gear.
