Story:
“What has the power to alter a man’s nature?”
You are the Nameless One, a massive being adorned with tattoos and scars accumulated throughout many lifetimes, all of which you cannot recall but which are now returning to plague you. Morte, the secret-keeping floating skull, shakes you up and sets you on an expedition that will take The Nameless One from the filthy alleys of Sigil into the enigmatic Outer Planes and even deeper into Hell.
Sigil’s planar city is riddled with portals that go to anyplace in the universe—but only if you have the right key. Sigil, sometimes referred to as the “City of Doors,” is a neutral area where races, devas, and demons from all over the multiverse assemble under the careful eye of the mysterious Lady of Pain, the city’s ruler. Here, belief has the ability to change the course of history, the power of the written word outweighs that of the sword, and thinking defines reality.
Along the way, you’ll encounter allies that are as strange as the planes themselves: a set of armour brought to life by a spirit who demands JUSTICE, a confused cube that wields a crossbow, and more. A chaste succubus that can kill with a kiss. You will travel through worlds in quest of answers with these friends and others by The Nameless One’s side, only to learn that some destinies are unavoidable and that some memories are too painful for even an immortal to bear.
