The highly regarded survival horror game Outlast has a follow-up called Outlast 2. Outlast 2 is a perverse new voyage into the depths of the human mind and its dark secrets. It is set in the same universe as the original game, but it has different characters and a different scenario.
You will meet Sullivan Knoth and his followers in Outlast 2, who fled our evil world to create Temple Gate, a village tucked away in the woods and cut off from the outside world. You’re in the center of Knoth and his flock’s preparations for the trials of the end times.
As a cameraman, you are Blake Langermann, and you work alongside Lynn, your wife. As investigative journalists, you two aren’t afraid to take chances and delve deeper to find the stories that others are afraid to touch.
You’re pursuing a trail of clues that began with the implausibly easy murder of Jane Doe, the only known pregnant woman.
Your inquiry has taken you miles into the Arizona desert, into a place of depravity so deep that going insane might be the only rational course of action, and into a darkness so deep that no one could possibly shine light on it.
