There have been better times in Mhakna and Sebiarno. A grumpy old woman runs their orphanage; if the two do not find foster parents by the time they are ten years old, she will convert them into animals and sell them in the city. They leave their old life behind and make their way to Enles Land, a country of endless happiness for kids, with a little assistance from a fairy named Bell. They get to know other kids who are just like them here. However, they are blind to the fact that something is wrong in this children’s paradise.
“Mhakna Gramura and Fairy Bell” is a spin-off Cinematic Novel that was created with novices in mind. It began as a project honoring the “fault series” that sold over 300,000 copies worldwide. It is not required to read the entire original fault series. “Mhakna Gramura and Fairy Bell” is a children’s book with over 150 unique pages of art by Hare Konatsu, animation by Saketai, music composed by Foxtail-Grass Studio, and a narrative by Munisix, the author of the series. It is a bittersweet tale about happiness and what it means to grow up.
