Carl Johnson fled the stresses of life in Los Santos, San Andreas, five years ago. At the time, the city was falling apart due to gang violence, drug abuse, and corruption. Where billionaires and movie stars try their best to stay away from the drug dealers and gangsters.
It is now the early nineties. Carl needs to return home. His family has disintegrated, his mother was murdered, and all of his childhood pals are on the wrong path.
When he gets back to the neighbourhood, a few dishonest police officers set him up for murder. In an attempt to save his family and seize control of the streets, CJ is compelled to embark on a quest that spans the whole state of San Andreas.
