In an instant, you’re riding down the road with no worries at all. Then a suit-clad man approaches you and your group, saying he has a deal for you. However, when you awaken, you have a bump on your head, the law is on your back, and you have a gut feeling that things are going to get very difficult.
Full Throttle, a legendary visual adventure game from industry icon Tim Schafer, was first published by LucasArts in 1995. It tells the narrative of Ben Throttle, the butt-kicking head of the Polecats, a biker gang, and how he gets entangled in a web of motorcycles, mayhem, and murder.
After more than two decades, Full Throttle has returned in a remastered version featuring brand-new hand-drawn and 3D high-resolution artwork compatible with 4K, as well as updated audio and music. Bring the movie-quality sound and complete digital soundtrack to life on your speakers with the GONE JACKALS, a real hard-hitting motorcycle band!
Gamers will be able to freely mix and match the game’s audio and visual settings, as well as alternate between the classic and remastered versions. A concept art browser including Peter Chan’s artwork and a commentary track from the game’s original designers are also included.
A famous cult classic, Full Throttle was Tim Schafer’s debut game as the sole project lead! With the kind of care and consideration that only results from working with the game’s original designers, this special edition has been painstakingly rebuilt and repaired. In 2017, it will be released on PC, PS4, and PS Vita.
