The only person with a water-filled well is you. It gets more harder to survive if you lose the base. There will be people in need of water if it exists. While some will trade, others will not, claiming they must be forced to. To keep unwanted visitors away from you, set up walls and traps. Don’t forget that you may also blow them up with dynamite.
