The turn-based strategy-RPG Blackguards 2 promises hard hexfield fights and a grim, bloody plot full of crime and bloodshed.

Select your playstyle. You can build your character anyway you see fit, whether that be as a ranged fighter, mage, or front-line combat monster. Every choice you make has an impact, so consider them carefully. Death can be approaching quickly.

It has been three years since Count Uria’s schemes. Life continued in Aventuria even after the Vanquishers of the Nine Hordes had long since parted ways. The sole objective of Cassia, a young lady of aristocratic lineage, is to take the Shark Throne, even if it is just for a single day, at any cost. Regretfully, there are two issues that could make her intentions fail. She is imprisoned in a dungeon for the most of her days, and on top of that, Marwan is already the guy who holds the throne. She settles for a more… grounded strategy because she is neither fond of nor skilled in matters of diplomacy or politics. She plans to escape from prison, depose Marwan, and take the throne for herself. She needs powerful allies for this. She must gather the Vanquishers of the Nine Hordes around her and assemble an army of Sellswords. Doesn’t it seem like a good plan? However, one must be extremely naive to get beyond the dungeon’s gates and irresponsible to assemble and lead the lowest of the realm’s castes.
