A wanderer looking for a place to call home is the subject of the open world cooperative action role-playing game Ashen.
Multiplayer Passive Cooperative
There are times when you’ll run into other players in Ashen’s vast open area, which is similar to Journey’s passive multiplayer. You can choose to ignore them, ask them to your party, or team together to battle evil. The choice is yours.
Twisted Souls
Ashen introduces players to a grueling yet satisfyingly huge world while staying true to the “souls” genre of stamina-based combat. The catch is that no two gaming sessions are the same. Where you are at any given time will significantly change the path of your quest, whether you’re raiding an old palace, exploring swamps, or studying a fjord. You’re merely living in a harsh, open world.
Monsters + Battle
Dangerous encounters abound in Ashen, ranging from hostile adversaries to native species. Studying the surroundings and the people who live there, as well as organizing your journey rather than winging it, will pay off. Not only are the world’s plants and animals fascinating, but they may also be lethal. Every conflict, no matter how minor, has the potential to be very dangerous.
Crafting Is Essential
You will have the option to invite survivors you find to your town. However, these are not just travelers; they have the ability to work with you and carry with them a variety of crafting abilities, such as knowledge of foraging and blacksmithing.
Narration + Musical Score
The production team at A44 worked closely with well-known fantasy author Mark Lawrence (The Broken Empire trilogy) and well-known band Foreign Fields to create a seamless and distinctive story and sound.
