Motivated by the works of H.P. The Alone in the Dark series by Lovecraft, published by Atari, is regarded as the “Father of the Survival Horror Genre.” In the gripping action-horror film Alone in the Dark: Illumination, this sinister heritage is explored.
Fight through diverse landscapes populated by ferocious monsters. As you save your friends—the Priest, the Engineer, and the Witch—assemble your team; each has specific skills and weapons of their own.
There is danger everywhere you look. You are always alone in the dark at the end of the night, even with the assistance of your friends.
Four Unique Heroes: the Engineer, the Priest, the Witch, and the Hunter each provide different gameplay experiences with unlockable abilities, skills, and weaponry.
Play in Teams or Alone in the Dark: In cooperative multiplayer mode, play with all four characters. Alternatively, form smaller teams for a more difficult challenge, or venture out into the darkness by yourself.
Diverse Environments: Players explore the devastated Lorwich landscape as well as the depths of this abandoned municipality over four multi-level campaigns.
Eldritch Horror: Drawn from the works of H.P. In your nightmares, Lovecraftian entities such as Shapes, Roof Walkers, and Spawns will appear.
Dynamic Environments: You can progress your mission and alter the map’s layout by interacting with dynamic environmental puzzles.
Use the Power of Illumination: Brighten maps to inflict damage on your enemies and establish safe zones.
