Equipped with a flashlight that consumes a lot of batteries, you find yourself investigating what seems to be a calm, unremarkable house in a neighborhood surrounded by trees. As you fight to survive the terror that is pursuing you and piece together the terrifying riddle of what has been happening in this house, you soon realize that you are not alone.
Change to the wildly popular VR Mode, which uses our Immersive Movement Role-play System (IMRS) in conjunction with a minimum Room Scale to fully immerse you in the scene for an even more horrifying encounter. Following the lesson, you are on your own. There are no HUD or on-screen instructions, so you’re never taken out of the experience.

GAMEPLAY DURATION:
The length of a game depends on its style. The player must find and piece together the tale as there are no Quicktime events in this game. Explore as much of the house as you can; it’s essentially an open world. A completist could spend several hours playing this game. Hours of playing are still the standard unless you know the exact location of every item. So please, don’t spoil it for others by disclosing an item’s whereabouts. To make it harder, we’ll add some randomization to the in the future.
ASPECTS:
Survival: With few resources, you must either outwit your adversary or flee and hide. Wishing you luck.
You never know when a haunting will happen, so you have to be on guard at all times. This leads to random periods of horror. Beyond story moments, our own Scare Randomizer engine will produce arbitrary scares. This implies that you can never predict when a scare will occur. It resembles an actual haunted house. There can be a lot of scares at times, or maybe very few or none at all. The unknown terrifies people greatly. Wear headphones and keep your eyes open at all times because the loudness by itself will make you want to puke.
