And so there we were in the jungle, going about our business as usual. You know, that was kind of wonderful. Calm, contentment, balance with the environment, and—wait for it—extra awesomeness because—wait for it—my mom is a witch! Technically speaking, yes, but she resembles a witch from Harry Potter rather than a spooky Witch Hazel because, god bless her, she always puts her abilities to good use. She’s the finest, whatever, but this is also the very moment that everything went wrong.

See, the king’s guards suddenly appear, stuffy and formal, and they inform me that my mother is being taken to the castle and that there is nothing I can do about it. I mean, I was like, “Yeah right, narcs,” and I quietly made my way in, but now there are tons of foes to get rid of, items to utilize, and pets to obtain—and that’s only the beginning!

It appears that at some point during the journey, someone else just stole a goblin artifact; now that THEY are inside the castle, the goblins are enraged and have begun to attack. Fortunately, I can recruit a friend to help me because this is a cooperative game, but WOW! Artifacts belonging to goblins? Parents missing from the picture? What is the plan of a thief? That’s simply the fate of being a SON OF A WITCH, I suppose!
