UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late PC Game Overview
The unfolding of the In-births’ story
The group known as the “Night Blade” has served as protectors during the “Hollow Night” since the beginning of time. Linne, the Princess of the Night Blade, meets Hyde, a young boy, while she is taking a break from her never-ending labors in a dull town. Hyde is the owner of the legendary blade of destiny, which Linne has been looking for far and wide.
Monsters known as Voids consume the power that manifests in the Hollow Night, while individuals known as In-births channel that same power for their own purposes. As Linne looks into the cause of the abrupt rise in the number of In-births and Voids during the Hollow Night, she learns of a sinister scheme being devised by a person going by the name “Paradox.” The individual in question turns out to be Hilda, the head of the mysterious group “Amnesia.”
Vowing to put an end to “Paradox” before her evil schemes are realized, Linne disappears into the night. She has no idea that Hyde, the small child she met, is trailing behind her, wanting to find out who and what she is.
Thus, the narrative of the Hollow Night and In-births commences.
The story of the “Abyss battle” and the “In-births”
The “Voids” are those who live in the nighttime shadows. It is stated that people whose souls are absorbed by the Void would experience a simulated death before awakening as a “In-birth.” When the In-births awaken, they possess a supernatural ability called “EXS” that enables them to accomplish superhuman feats.
The “Hollow Night” occurs on full moon nights and is accompanied by the crimson fog phenomena. The source and center of EXS is the “Abyss.” Power brokers congregate there. The In-births fight for their own reasons, for fame, ambition, pride, and self-interest.
