The cult favorite Space Rangers 2 is expanded and remastered in Space Rangers HD: A War Apart. The SNK-Games team is working closely with series fans to produce the game.

One of the most significant enhancements is a new scenario centered around the pirates posing a threat to the galaxy. The pirates have banded together under the leadership of an enigmatic figure, while the Coalition devotes all of its resources to combating the Dominators—sentient machines that want to exterminate all life. They have started their own guerrilla struggle to take control of the weaker Galaxy under this new lord. Now, players have the option of dealing with the pirates, the Dominators, or both at once. Selecting the latter will grant you access to new objectives, side missions, stories, and promotions. You have two options after winning a war: either end the game or keep playing to win more.

Key Features:

• A fresh subplot about pirates. A player has two options after finishing a story branch: they can quit the game and try again to finish the other branch. Actions taken by the player affect the galaxy as a whole, and AI decisions can also affect the outcome of either battle. Every playing will be unique.
• Major technical overhaul. Now fully supported are multi-core CPUs, Windows® 7, display sizes up to 1920×1200, and anti-aliasing in 3D planetary combat.
• With the extended soundtrack, you may enjoy over 15 brand-new musical themes that were especially composed to let you fully immerse yourself in the incredible Space Rangers universe.
• More than ten additional prose adventures, fifteen or more planetary battle maps, twenty or more government missions, special non-story events, new equipment and micromodules, access to all hyperspace engagements from the main menu, and more enhancements are included!
